This morning, a delegation from the Algerian Petroleum Institute (IAP) of the SONATRACH Group was officially received by the Director General of SMH, Mr. Ismail Abdel Vettah, marking the beginning of a series of strategic exchanges aimed at strengthening cooperation between SMH and SONATRACH.
This working visit, conducted within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between SMH and SONATRACH, aims to conduct an in-depth study on the training of SMH personnel, identify their skill development needs, and propose a comprehensive training program. This program will include continuous training at IAP, as well as integration internships for SMH teams within SONATRACH projects and facilities.
As an institute integrated into SONATRACH and specializing in the petroleum and hydrocarbon industry, IAP is committed to supporting SMH in training, professional development, retraining, and capacity building for its human resources. This cooperation will cover various strategic areas in the energy sector, including hydrocarbons, hydrogen, and low-carbon and clean energy solutions.
Through this collaboration, SMH and SONATRACH reaffirm their shared commitment to strengthening and expanding their cooperation in the energy sector.
