Downstream Projects

To meet the growing market needs, an extension project of the port depot in Nouakchott began in June 2022. It consists of the construction of:

• A 600,350 cf (17,000 cubic meters) diesel tank.
• A 123,600 cf (3,500 cubic meters) fuel oil tank.
• A 88,287 cf (2,500 cubic meters) gasoline tank.

At the end of this project scheduled for end-2023, the capacity of the depot will have been increased by 38%.
A second project for the renewal of the pipelines to receive petroleum products by boat will be launched by the beginning of 2023.
