On February 5, 2025, a fire drill was conducted at the SMH petroleum products storage terminal in collaboration with local firefighters. The exercise aimed to test and strengthen team responsiveness in the face of a major incident within a sensitive environment, such as a petroleum products site. Realistic scenarios were simulated to assess coordination among various stakeholders; including SMH security teams, firefighters, and local authorities. The exercise verified the effectiveness of emergency protocols, risk management, and the ability to control a fire in a complex setting.
