As part of the verification of the Unit’s petroleum costs, and in accordance with the provisions of Article 1.8.1 et seq. of Appendix “C” (Unit Accounting Procedure, UUOA), PETROSEN and SMH have jointly decided to conduct an audit of the costs incurred and charged to the Unit Account for the years 2022 and 2023.
In this context, the joint audit team travelled to BP’s headquarters in Sunbury (London) to pursue the audit work, which was previously initiated during the Dakar phase and subsequently continued during the Nouakchott phase.
The Sunbury phase commenced on June 30 and will conclude on July 5, 2025.
